Kitchen Assistant, The Bishop William Ward Primary School
17.5 hours per week (5 days per week, 10:30 - 14:00, term time only).
Scale 2, Point 3 - 4 - £24,796 - £25,185 pa.
Pro rata salary range £9,784 - £9,938 pa.
Start date: October 2026 or sooner if available.
We are a friendly village school seeking to appoint a Kitchen Assistant who has a passion for cooking and providing high quality meals. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who enjoys using their own initiative, as well as working as part of a team.
Our Kitchen Assistant will support our Catering Manager in the daily preparation and service of fresh home cooked food for our pupils. Experience of a similar environment would be an advantage, but not essential.
