HR Coordinator (Recruitment Lead)
Are you a highly organised administrative professional who loves technology and helping people? If so we are looking for an HR Co-ordinator (Recruitment Lead) to join our friendly HR team.
In this role, you will own the day-to-day recruitment and onboarding lifecycle across the school. You will be the primary point of contact for candidates, guide them through their recruitment journey, and ensure all hiring processes run smoothly and in accordance with Safer Recruitment and Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) statutory guidance.
A key focus of this role is helping us establish and champion our new online recruitment and onboarding portal. You will work closely with hiring managers to help them adapt to the new system, troubleshoot early queries, and look for ways to continuously refine the digital candidate experience and other HR processes.
You don't need to have years of experience in an educational setting, but you do need an eagle eye for detail, a strong comfort level with technology, and a warm, professional approach to customer service.
This is a brilliant opportunity to combine your affinity for administrative precision with a hands-on role in improving how we recruit and welcome new colleagues.
Knowledge of Safer Recruitment practices, KCSIE statutory guidance, or a CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential - we are happy to support the right person's development.

Information about the School
Brentwood School is one of the UK's leading independent day and boarding schools for boys and girls aged 3 to 18 with a history spanning almost 500 years. We are an academically selective HMC co-educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. Along with 12 other schools in the country, we follow the 'Diamond Model' whereby girls and boys are taught together up to age 11, separately from 11 to 16 and together again in the Sixth Form. Set within a 75-acre site, in the heart of Brentwood town and just 20 minutes from London Liverpool Street, our campus provides a stimulating environment for innovative teaching and a first-class education for over 1600 pupils."
