CARETAKER
Scale 6 pts 14-18, actual salary £29,540 - £31,022
Full time, 37 hours per week
Shifts between 6.00am and 10.00pm. Occasional weekend working, as required
We require, as soon as possible, a hard-working, conscientious and self-motivated individual to play a key role in maintaining our school site and ensuring it is a safe environment for our whole school community to enjoy.
The successful applicant is likely to have experience in a similar role or skills that are transferable to the job description. The main duties fall into four broad categories: security, caretaking and maintenance, health and safety and other general duties.

Information about the School
The Sandon School is a popular 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 1275 students with an excellent reputation in the local area. The school is situated close to the A12 on the east side of Chelmsford within easy reach of Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend and Brentwood and has good public transport links.
