Learning Support Assistant
Essex Scale 4 Point 8-9
Actual salary: £19,465.52 to 19,777.56 per annum
Additional fringe allowance - £529.02 per annum
31 hours, 15 minutes per week - Monday to Friday: 8.30am - 3.15pm
(30-minute unpaid break for lunch)
38 weeks of the year - term time plus INSET days
Fixed Term to 31st August 2027
Doddinghurst C of E Junior School wishes to appoint a Learning Support Assistant who has a good understanding of child development and learning and would be willing to support children with both their physical and academic needs.
You will have a passion for working with pupils and assisting them on their journey. You will need to understand the subjects that you support the children in, be able to demonstrate a fair attitude and apply rules consistently as well as be confident in adjusting learning programs to meet the child's needs. You will be resilient, hardworking and have excellent de-escalation skills.
The successful candidate will be:

- Committed to supporting pupils' learning, behaviour, emotional needs, and overall welfare.
- Dedicated to raising outcomes for all students through innovation and continuous improvement.
