We are seeking to appoint a flexible and committed team player, within our small, community school for two afternoons per week (6 hours in total), term time only.
The main role will involve covering whole-class PPA for a mixed Y4/Y5 class and a mixed Y5/Y6 class.
Main Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality lessons.
Provide whole-class cover during short-term absence.
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs, including pupils with SEND, EAL and disadvantaged learners.
Lead small group and one-to-one interventions to accelerate progress.
Promote high expectations of learning, behaviour and achievement.
Use questioning and assessment effectively to support pupil progress.
Encourage independence, resilience and a love of learning.
Be an adaptable team player.
Hold GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
Hold a HLTA qualification.
Demonstrate a high standard of written and spoken English.
Have a good sense of humour!
