Location: Beehive Lane Primary School, Great Baddow, Essex, CM2 9SR
Contract: Full time (term time), fixed term
Salary: Pay scale 5, Point 9-12 £27,254-28,598 FTE
Start Date: 1/9/2026

About the Role
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team. This is a varied and rewarding role that will involve:
· Delivering small group interventions to support pupils' progress
· Covering whole classes for PPA time and teacher absence
· Providing targeted support for pupils with SEND
· Working closely with teachers to support high-quality teaching and learning
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and confident leading learning independently.
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will:
· Have excellent organisational skills
· Be able to use initiative and work independently when required
· Be a clear and effective communicator with pupils, staff and parents
· Have experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary setting
· Demonstrate a positive, flexible and proactive approach
· Have an interest or strengths in specific curriculum areas (desirable)
· Have GCSE Maths & English Grade C/4+ or equivalent (HLTA qualification is not necessary).
