Permanent Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Stepping Stones Inclusion Base
We are delighted to invite applications for the position of Learning Support Assistant (LSA) based in our new Stepping Stones Inclusion Base at Ingatestone Infant School.
This is a permanent part-time role (4 days per week, Tuesday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, 30-minute lunchbreak), commencing September 2026.
About the Role
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with multiple and complex learning needs, including those who require significant communication support.
The Stepping Stones Inclusion Base will provide a nurturing, structured, and highly supportive environment for up to eight pupils, led by a qualified teacher and supported by a team of three LSAs. As part of this team, you will play a key role in enabling pupils to access learning, develop communication skills, and thrive socially and emotionally.

Contractual information:
Permanent contract starting September 2026, 4 days a week, 8.30am - 3.30pm with 30-minute lunch break, Tuesday to Friday
Location: Ingatestone Inclusion Base (starting at Ingatestone Infant School)
Total number of hours: 26 hours per week
Total number of weeks: 39 weeks (Term time plus inset days)
Pay scale: scale 3 (point 6 to 7). Pro-rated salary £16,095.78 to £16,345.19
