Level 3 Early Years Practitioner, including Breakfast Club
Start Date: September 2026
Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only
7:30am - 8:30am Breakfast Club
8:30am - 3:15pm L3 Early Years Practitioner
Type: Permanent, Part-time
Salary:
Breakfast Club: Scale 2, point 4 (actual salary £2,839 per annum, pay award pending)
L3 Early Years: Scale 5, point 10 (actual salary £19,514 per annum, pay award pending)
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Early Years Practitioner to join our Nursery from September 2026. This is an exciting time to join the team following expansion of our Nursery provision in 2025.
The role will also include supporting nursery pupils attending the Breakfast Club, ensuring they have a safe calm, and happy start to their day.
The successful candidate will:
· be level 3 qualified;
· have line management responsibilities for other staff;
· support the Nursery teacher and existing staff to create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment for children aged 2-4 years;
· supervise pupils in their activities, at play and at mealtimes
· assist with implementing age-appropriate activities, curriculum, and daily routines that promote cognitive, social, and physical development;
· have the ability to form positive relationships with colleagues and children;
· be prepared to take on any educational training as required;
· remain calm in challenging situations and work closely as part of a team;
· have a good sense of humour!
