This role has arisen due to our existing Head of Criminology (who also taught psychology and some Law) relocating. We are seeking to recruit a committed and inspiring teacher to teach (or lead for the right candidate) criminology (2 classes in year 12 and 2 classes in year 13) as well as support in the teaching of psychology and/or law. We have an experienced Head of Psychology and Head of Law who will support in the teaching of these subjects. We pride ourselves on being a small and friendly Sixth Form and have a dedicated member of the senior leadership team as the Director of Sixth Form, as well as a Head of Year 12 and Head of Year 13. We also have full time admin support through our dedicated Sixth Form manager and her team of admin support. Criminology, Psychology and law lessons are taught in the Sixth Form block which has a dedicated computer room as well as cafe and study space with a further independent study suite in the main school building. We teach the WJEC Criminology certificate in year 12 and the extended certificate into year 13. Psychology (AQA) and Law (OCR) are both popular A-level subjects.
