Location:Trust offices in Chelmsford with regular travel to all CLP schools

Chelmsford Learning Partnership is seeking an exceptional Deputy Director of Standards and School Improvement to play a pivotal role in driving excellence in teaching, learning and pupil outcomes across our family of schools.

This is a senior, trust‑wide leadership role for an experienced and credible school leader who is passionate about equity, relentless about standards, and motivated by the belief that every child deserves an excellent education.

The Opportunity

This is not a desk‑based role and not about compliance. It is about influence, improvement and impact.

Shape and embed high‑quality approaches to curriculum, teaching, learning and assessment across the Trust
Work alongside Headteachers and senior leaders to secure sustained improvement in standards and outcomes
Strengthen internal quality assurance, using evidence intelligently to inform action
Champion inclusion, with a sharp focus on improving outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils
Play a leading role in Trust‑wide professional development, leadership growth and talent development
Lead the Trust‑based SCITT provision, supporting the next generation of teachers to thrive

Information about the School

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership (CLP) is an emerging multi-academy trust based in Springfield, Chelmsford. The trust was formerly known as The Boswells Academy Trust but changed name in late 2017 to reflect the growth of the trust beyond one school. There are currently 8 schools across Essex in the CLP multi academy trust.

The schools in the CLP are: Barnes Farm Primary School, Lakelands Primary School, Perryfields Infant School, Roding Valley High School, The Beaulieu Park School, The Boswells School, The Tyrrells Primary School and William de Ferrers School.
