Temple Sutton Primary School - Early Years Class Teacher Fixed Term

We require a Fixed Term, Early Years Class Teacher to work at Temple Sutton Primary School from September 2026 on a 12-month fixed term contract until 31st August 2027.

Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate and stimulate a child's learning abilities, often encouraging learning through experience
- Provide pastoral care and support to children within a secure learning environment
- Help children develop curiosity and knowledge
- Assess and monitor pupils' progress and provide regular feedback to ensure each student achieves their full potential
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
- Contribute to the wider school community by participating in school events and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working in an Early Years/primary school setting.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to ensuring all pupils reach their full potential
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Good organisational skills to plan the day and respond to the different needs of the children you teach
- The ability to inspire and enthuse young children
- Attention to detail for carrying out observations and reporting back to parents and other professionals.
