25 hours per week, term time plus non-pupil days.
Scale 3 - Actual starting salary £15,256 per annum.
Five days per week, Monday - Friday 1.00pm-6.00pm.
Kings Ford Academy is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Caretaker to join our team.
The successful candidate will be providing general maintenance of the buildings and grounds of the site, supporting with locking and unlocking of the school premises, general security, porterage, DIY etc.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- A firm commitment to the school and its ethos
- A flexible approach to their work and ability to work independently
- DIY and handyman skills, for example, decorating, carpentry, plumbing (desirable but full training can be given).
- Good communication skills as you will be liaising with contractors, tradesman as well as students and staff.
Inspires MAT have other schools within the area, youmay be required to support at these sites occasionally.
This role does not include working the school holidays, however, sometimes support is required and this will be paid on an overtime basis if required.
Ideally you should have an awareness of COSHH, safe manual handling practices and Health and Safety.
Full driving licence and use of own car is desirable.
