Woodlands School Hutton Manor. Little Acorns Day Nursery is situated within the school grounds.
Woodlands School and Little Acorns nursery are set within 27 acres of beautiful grounds. The children explore the outside daily as part of an enriched curriculum. We are a small, nurturing, family-feel environment where children thrive.
Hours:
40 hours per week, (over 4 days )52 weeks per year
Salary and benefits

Job Purpose
Little Acorns Nursery in Hutton, Brentwood are seeking motivated, talented nursery practitioners to be a part of our intimate setting within Woodlands Schools Ltd. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional growth and development.
We are looking for level 2 or Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to work as part of a team to provide an outstanding service in our beautifully resourced nursery setting.
Qualifications and experience
- NEB, CACHE level 3, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- 1 year experience preferred, newly qualified are also welcome to apply
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- Excellent organisational skills
- Exceptional communication skills, energy and a positive 'can do' attitudePassion for delivering outstanding childcare and learning

Person Specification:
Essential:
- Experience working with children (e.g. school, nursery, childcare, or voluntary work)
- Friendly, approachable, and patient manner
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage groups of children in a calm and positive way
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection (or willingness to learn)
Desirable
Experience in planning activities for children
Knowledge of food hygiene practices
