Preparatory School Teacher (KS1)

Part time: Required from September 2026

St John's is a co-educational Independent School for pupils aged between 2 and 16 years. We are proud of our educational provision and offer you the opportunity to join our successful school.

We are looking for an experienced, nurturing and committed candidate to join our dedicated team in Kindergarten. The role will involve working on Thursdays and Fridays.

The successful candidate must:

Have high expectations of children's achievements and behaviour.
Be committed to participating in our extra-curricular programme.

Be enthusiastic, a team player, self-motivated and innovative.
Be a positive role model for our pupils.
Have excellent communication skills with the ability to enthuse and motivate.
Be an inclusive practitioner who can flexibly tailor their approach to ensure every child feels understood and supported.
