About the role:
Mid Essex Initial Teacher Training (Mid Essex ITT) is a well-established and highly respected provider with over 30 years' experience developing outstanding secondary school teachers. Working in partnership with more than 20 schools across Essex, we have trained over 800 teachers through our rigorous, practice-focused programmes leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE with Anglia Ruskin University.
In February 2024 we were graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted for the second time, recognising the strength of our partnership, the quality of our training and the exceptional experience provided for trainees.
We are seeking a Director to provide strategic leadership for the Mid Essex ITT partnership, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality teacher training while supporting future growth and development. The Director will work closely with partner schools, the Strategic Board and Bridge Academy Trust, while leading a small team of tutors and administrators based at Notley High School.
