Alresford Primary is a 'Good' school (Ofsted June 2023) with 215 children currently on roll. Our children are polite, inquisitive and excited to learn and we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, part time, Play Coordinator to work with us 5 days a week, 12 hours per week, working pattern is included in the job description. Actual Salary: £6922.28, based on 12 hours p/w, 38 weeks (43.5 paid).
We are looking to appoint a Play Coordinator that will join us at the start of our lunch time transformation. We are seeking a friendly, reliable, fun person who appreciates that value of great play. You will be joining us at an exciting time, as we reimagine what play and lunchtime looks like at Alresford Primary School.
The successful candidate will:
· Enjoy being outdoors.
· Have a sense of fun and adventure.
· Be a team player.
· Be a good communicator.
· Be happy to learn or be familiar with risk assessing.
· Create a safe and inspiring environment for play.
Also desriable but not essential:
· Be able to work with handtools.
· Interest in gardening, creating spaces for play.
