Are you an experienced and strategic SENDCo ready to make a profound difference?
We are seeking an exceptional Inclusion Lead/SENDCo to join our leadership team and shape the next phase of our inclusive provision. This is a pivotal role for a passionate and skilled leader who believes that excellence and equity go hand in hand.

The Opportunity
As Inclusion Lead/SENDCo, you will provide strategic direction and operational excellence in SEND across the school. You will ensure that our provision is coherent, evidence-informed and fully aligned with the SEND Code of Practice (2015) and current statutory guidance.
You will:
- Articulate a clear and ambitious curriculum intent for pupils with SEND
- Secure strong implementation through high-quality adaptive teaching and effective intervention
- Rigorously evaluate impact, ensuring pupils achieve well from their starting points
- Lead the graduated approach (Assess-Plan-Do-Review) with precision and clarity
- Monitor the quality of education for pupils with SEND across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
- Analyse assessment information to inform strategic decisions and school improvement planning
- Line manage and deploy support staff to maximise progress and independence
- Provide high-quality professional development to strengthen inclusive classroom practice
- Work in close partnership with families as primary educators
- Collaborate effectively with governors, the Local Authority and external professionals
- Contribute meaningfully to whole-school leadership and improvement

We Are Looking For a Leader Who:
- Is an excellent classroom practitioner with consistently high expectations
- Has successful experience as a SENDCo (essential)
- Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) or is committed to completing it within 12 months
- Demonstrates secure and up-to-date knowledge of SEND legislation and inclusive pedagogy
- Understands the principles of adaptive teaching and evidence-informed intervention
- Is confident in monitoring provision and holding others to account with professionalism and integrity
- Builds trusting, compassionate relationships with children and families
- Leads with moral purpose, resilience and clarity
- Is committed to supporting and developing the Catholic life and mission of the school
