The Headteacher of Shoeburyness High School and the CEO of SECAT are seeking to appoint Exam Invigilators to oversee internal and external exams. They are looking for reliable, professional invigilators, on flexible contracts, to support the school with examination invigilation.
This is a zero hours contract and the rate of pay is £13.26 per hour.External and internal exams and practicals run throughout the year, includingNovember, January and April to July (main summer season).
The duties of an Exam Invigilator are as follows:
- To assist the Examination Officer with the smooth running of all exams.
- To implement examination proceures and to ensure the proper conduct of students.
- To assist with the setting up of the exam room, including displaying posters, layout of stationery, equipment and exam papers.
- To ensure that students comply with all instructions, preventing any potential malpractice during exams.
- To be willing to attend training and updates throughout the year.
- Full initial training will be provided.
It is desirable that successful candidates have experience of working within a school environment.
