Behaviour Mentor - Term Time

Pastoral Staff Pay Scale -Salary dependant on experience and qualifications

2 year fixed term contract to start

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join our Inclusion Team in a school with outstanding behaviour and a strong inclusive ethos. The successful candidate will work closely with students who require additional support with emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement in learning.

The role focuses on supporting students who may become dysregulated, using sport-based activities, mentoring, and therapeutic strategies to help them develop positive coping mechanisms, resilience, and readiness to learn.

You will work under the direction of the Deputy Headteacher (Inclusion Lead) as part of a collaborative team committed to ensuring all students can succeed in a supportive and structured environment.

The school has a positive ethos and culture where our students have the opportunity to experience success and be the best version of themselves. An ideal candidate will have a commitment to Trauma informed practice and understand the power of learning and education for our students. Staff are committed to supporting our young people to achieve great things and ensure they 'come with a past, but leave with a future'.
