Working as a Midday Assistant is a really rewarding job. We have an opportunity to join our friendly, caring midday pastoral team who quickly build relationships with the children and learn their individual characters and personalities. Children are always keen to show off their play skills and share their stories and actively seek feedback from the adults around them. By role modelling important social skills such as taking turns, listening to each other, being inclusive and working constructively on problems you can positively impact so many young lives. Our priority is to keep our children safe and the midday pastoral team are critical in ensuring we are able to do this.

This role is situated outside other than wet days when you would be assignedto a classroom.

The hours for this role are 12.00pm-1.15pm Monday to Friday during termtime only and salary is paid based on £12.85 per hour.

Please contact the school on admin@dsmprimary.essex.sch.uk or 01371872340 for a detailed job description and salary information.
