We have a very exciting opportunity for a Deputy Headteacher to join our school on its journey to excellence, here at Cherry tree Primary School and Nursery.
Start Date: 13th April 2026. Contract: Full time / Permanent.
Salary: Leadership Point 9-14 (£64,500 - £72,763 per annum).

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic, highly motivated and inspirational Deputy Headteacher with excellent and proven leadership and management skills, to join our dedicated and forward-thinking leadership team. We are looking for a person who:
· is an outstanding classroom practitioner
· has a deep knowledge of the primary curriculum and curriculum design
· has a great understanding of pedagogy and best practice, linked to research
· has high expectations of the children, staff and themselves with a passion for raising standards and attainment
· has a commitment to providing the best learning provision for all pupils, regardless of need
· has a very good knowledge and experience of positively supporting behaviour
· works well as part of a team and has a commitment to improving and developing their own and others' practice
· has demonstrated an ability to lead others successfully, preferably as part of a senior leadership team
· is an excellent role model for the staff and children within the school
