Our School
Sheering CE Primary School is a small, welcoming village school with a big heart. Relationships matter deeply here. We work hard to create a calm, nurturing environment where children feel known, valued and supported - and where adults feel trusted and cared for.
Like all schools, we serve a community with a range of needs. We believe that positive behaviour is taught, modelled and stengthened throuh consistency, kindness and clear expectations and that children flourish best when they fee safe and understood.
The role
We are looking for a warm, reflective and committed class teacher to join us and teach a mixed Year 3&4 class. This role would suit someone who enjoys building strong relationships with children, values collaboration, and is keen tomake a real difference.
We are looking for someone who:
- is a skilled and reflective classroom practitioner
- has high expectations for learning
- builds positive relationships and creates a classroom where children feel a strong sense of belonging
- is confident in establishing clear routines and expectations
- encourages curisoity in reflecting on practice and embracing challenge
- demonstrates compassion in their work with children, families and colleagues
- values being part of a supportive, collaborative community
- is supportive of the Christian ethos of the school
