Location:Hybrid remote, 2 days working at home, 3 days office-based (options to work from regional hubs or EdCity, London W12 7TF)
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

Build your career in data protection
We're looking for an enthusiastic, diligent, and highly organised individual to join our central team and grow with us. This is a development opportunity, ideal for someone at the start of their career who is curious, motivated, and keen to build a future in data protection and information governance.
Make a real difference across our schools
You'll work closely with our Data Protection Officer to help ensure personal data across Lift Schools is handled securely, lawfully, and transparently. From coordinating information requests and supporting data breach management to helping promote a strong culture of privacy awareness, your work will make a real difference to schools, colleagues, and families.
Training and development
We can support the successful candidate to complete theLevel 4 Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner apprenticeship, with training fees covered through our apprenticeship levy if you wish to take this route. We'll guide you through finding an apprenticeship provider and support you throughout your learning and development.
This is a fast-paced and varied role, so you'll need to be proactive, well organised, and confident communicating with a wide range of people, including senior leaders, colleagues, and parents and carers.
We're keen to hear from you if you:
- Have a genuine interest in data protection, compliance, or information governance
- Enjoy working in a responsive, sometimes unpredictable environment
- Are a clear and thoughtful communicator
- Has a keen eye for detail
- Are confident using Google Workspace (or keen to learn)
Experience in education, compliance, UK GDPR, Freedom of Information, or cyber security is helpful, but not essential. What matters most is your willingness to learn and grow.
