Layer de la Haye Priamry school are looking to appoint a part time Catering Assistant to join our team.
This is a full time position currently job shared with the current options available below. The job share role requires flexibility to ensure smooth cover and support across the team.
8.5 hours per week, Monday and Wednesday 9.30 -1.45pm, term time plus 5 non pupil days (£4,883.55 - £5,038.55)
or
4.25 hours per week, Wednesday 9.30-1.45pm, term time plus 5 non pupil days. (£2,441.77 - £2,519.27)
Our Catering Manager needs a reliable catering assistant to help with the preparation and serving of lunch, washing up, general cleaning and other tasks associated with catering at our friendly village school.
Previous experience of working in a school kitchen would be useful, although full training will be available for the right candidate. Applicants will be required to complete the relevant food safety and hygiene training.
The successful candidate will bring a positive, welcoming attitude that helps create a supportive atmosphere for both children and staff. Our kitchen currently prepares approximately 130 meals each day.
