VACANCY for a Midday Assistant to supervise a quiet club at lunchtime
Part time/Permanent
Ø 1 hour per day, 5 days a week, (1215-1315hrs)
Ø Working Weeks: 38 weeks (Term time Only)
Ø Scale 1 Point 2 Actual Salary £2,752.38 Per Annum (FTE £24,413.00)
To start: As soon as possible
An opportunity has arisen for a Midday Assistant to join our team to support children at lunchtimes by supervising a quiet club for an hour. This post will involve supervising a classroom for those children who would rather spend their lunchtime quietly involved in reading, drawing, or playing quietly. On occasions,you may be asked to help in the playground as well as supporting with the meals in the Hall/classroom or in the school kitchen if required.
The successful candidates will be caring, positive and have the ability to use their own initiative and remain calm under pressure. Experience in working with children is essential.
