Thundersley Primary School is seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Manager to take pride in keeping our school safe, clean, and welcoming for our children, staff, and community.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the life of our school, managing our buildings, grounds, and facilities so that pupils can learn and thrive in the best possible environment.
About the Role
As our Site Manager, you will:
Oversee the day-to-day running, maintenance, safety, and security of the school site.
Lead and support our site assistant and cleaning team.
Manage contractors and ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
Take responsibility for health & safety, carrying out regular checks and maintaining records.
Be hands-on with repairs, improvements, and general upkeep.
Maintain our swimming pool facilities, ensuring safe and efficient operation (training provided if needed).

We need someone who is:
Practical, skilled and confident in carrying out repairs and maintenance.
Well-organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
A good communicator who can work well with staff, children, and contractors.
Committed to safeguarding and creating a safe environment for all.
Flexible, reliable, and ready to respond to the unexpected.
Knowledgeable in health & safety, site management, and cleaning standards.
