St Cedd's School is seeking a Site Assistant/Gardener to join our established, hard-working Site Team. St Cedd's School is situated on a thriving 4-acre site close to the centre of Chelmsford. We pride ourselves on the high standards to which the grounds and buildings are maintained.
This role is varied and wide ranging and will involve maintaining the site and grounds, liaising with contractors, some painting and premises repairs and other site related tasks.
The role would suit someone with a real interest in site maintenance and gardening wishing to get hands-on experience.
Hours: 40 hours/week (8 hours a day between 10:00 and 18:00 during term time and 08:00 to 16:00 in school holidays, for 52 weeks a year)
Holiday entitlement: 28 days per year including bank holidays plus days between Christmas and New Year.
Salary/Benefits: £12.50 per hour
