Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant/Midday Assistant - Bardfield Academy
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st August 2028
Hours Per Week: 32 hours 40 minutes per week
Scale: Scale 3, point 5-6 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: £19,381.15 - £19,680.21 (depending on qualifications and experience)
Start Date: ASAP after interviews
Closing Date: Wednesday 14th January 2026 Midday
Interview Date: Friday 23rd January 2026

Are you passionate about supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities? Bardfield Academy, part of the South Essex Academy Trust (SEAT), is looking for a caring and adaptable SEND Teaching/Midday Assistant to join our vibrant team!

In this dual role you will work closely with pupils during learning activities in the classroom and support them during lunchtimes to ensure a safe, enjoyable environment.
You will be required to work 32 hours 40 minutes per week; Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 3:30pm and 8:15am - 2:00pm on Fridays, term time only.
