Level 3 Apprentice Teaching Assistant (Sports Pathway)
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 30 Hours Per Week (30 minute break) Inclusive of Study Time / Term Time Only
Salary: £9,852.75
We are looking to appoint a Level 3 Apprentice Teaching Assistant (Sports Pathway). This role will be both class-based supporting in Maths and English sets (and some foundation subjects) and also supporting in Games/PE and Sport-based after school clubs/events. We are looking for a candidate with a strong sports background through their own coaching/instructing or someone who has just completed a sports-related course at college and is looking to further their knowledge. Our strong enthusiastic team is committed to inclusion, with a clear emphasis on pupil well-being and raising attainment for all pupils.
Alongside your employment you will be studying for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship (Sports Pathway). The Sports Teaching Assistant apprenticeship uses the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Standard, along with an embedded coaching qualification, to enable those in a Sports support role to achieve a relevant qualification whilst working in this position. This course typicaly lasts 16-18 months and is equivalent to two A Levels.
You will have a structured learning programme including both 'on and off the job' activities, designed to cover everything you need to learn. Your tutor will meet with you regularly to guide you through your learning and this will be complemented by support from us. Your progress will be reviewed regularly and you will be involved in this process.
