Midday Assistant Vacancy

Writtle Junior School is looking for a positive, caring, enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our team to supervise the children during their lunch time.

Hourly rate of pay: £13.05

Hours: 11:40am- 1:10pm term time only

Closing date for applications: Monday 5th January 2026

Interviews will be held on Tuesday 13th January 2026 and will include a short practical activity.

Information about the School

We are a two form entry Junior School, situated in a rural location, close to Hylands Park.The school is easily accessible by road via the A414 and the A12.

Our school seeks to be a partnership of teaching and support staff, parents, children and governors, working together to create a friendly, family atmosphere where children and adults are encouraged to develop.

Writtle Junior School is a member of the HIVE Family of Schools.
