ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT WITH RESPONSIBILITY FOR ADMISSIONS AND ATTENDANCE

Chadwell St Mary Primary School is a happy and positive school seeking an Administration Assistant to be a key player in the day-to-day running of the busy school office. The Administration Assistant role will include general administration and telephone duties as well as dealing with daily enquiries from parents, staff and pupils. This role also includes responsibility for the school's admissions and attendance. This position will provide the opportunity for an applicant with enthusiasm to learn about school administrative processes and to be involved in the busy life of a primary school.

The times of work for this role are 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday (32 hours 30 minutes per week, term time plus INSET days).

We are looking for a person who:

· is organised and able to prioritise workload;

· has excellent communication skills via email, face to face, telephone, and written letters;

· is confident and able to work on their own initiative;

· works well in a team and is calm under pressure;

· has the interests of children at the heart of their daily work;

· has good ICT literacy and familiarity with all Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
