Alresford Primary is a 'Good' school (Ofsted June 2023) with 215 children currently on role. Our children are polite, inquisitive and excited to learn and we have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, part time, Play Coordinator to work with us 5 days a week, 12 hours per week, which can be spread out across the week, this is negotiable, please note hours must cross the lunch hour which is 12 - 1pm. Actual Salary: £6922.28, based on 12 hours p/w, 38 weeks (43.5 paid).

The successful candidate will have the chance to be part of the team that takes these amazing children into the next chapter of their educational career. We have a wonderful, supportive team and real family feel at Alresford. We are at the start of our OPAL journey and we are excited to be looking for someone to be part of the team that drives this initiative forward.

The successful candidate will:

·be passionate about play, understand and value the importance of this in growing well rounded children who can problem solve, take calculated risks, negotiate and most importantly play as children should be when they are young.

· Have high expectations of pupil behaviour

· Is caring, enthusiastic and creative

· Is organised, flexible and able to work on their own initiative

· Work well with others and have excellent communication skills

· Be a positive role model for all pupils
