Pre-School Leader - St John Fisher Catholic Primary School

Required: February 2026 (After Half Term)

Salary: Scale 7 + Fringe Allowance (Subject to Qualifications)

Location: Essex

Contract Type: Monday to Friday 08.30am to 15.30pm - 32.5hpw

Contract Term: Permanent (Term Time) + 5 Non-Pupil Days

The Trustees of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Multi Academy Trust wish to appoint an excellent, enthusiastic, caring Pre-School Leader to join our setting at St John Fisher Catholic Primary. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, to build from an early year's provision. Experience of leading a setting would be preferred, but not essential. Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Multi Academy Trust consists of three Primary schools who work closely together.

The successful candidate will be able to:

· Support the Catholic ethos of the School

· Lead and manage the provision of Early Years Education

· Implement policies and procedures to ensure the welfare requirement of the EYFS framework is met

· Participate in planning, assessment, recording and reporting, in line with requirements of the EYFS Statutory Framework

· Provide a safe and secure learning environment for the children

· Set expectations that inspire, motivate and challenge every child

· Assist in providing effective liaison with parents on a day to day basis regarding the welfare, learning and development of the children

· Work alongside outside agencies

Essential qualifications, at least, NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Childcare & Education or equivalent.

Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Multi Academy Trust was formed in August 2013 and incorporates St Alban's Catholic Academy and St Luke's Catholic Academy. Both schools are one form entry and are happy, exciting and inspiring learning environments.
