Salary: Essex Scale 5 Point 9 - 12
(£23,939.32 to £25,119.86 per annum plus £640.34 fringe per annum)
37 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm (30-minute unpaid break)
40 weeks of the year - term time, inset days plus 2 additional weeks
Brentwood County High Schoolis seeking a highly motivatedSupport Officerto join their team. As part of a group of support officers, you will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks across the school. Your specific responsibilities will encompassschool data and events. Collaborating closely with theData Managerand theSenior Leadership Team, this role offers an opportunity to positively impact our school community.
The ideal candidate will excel in building relationships with staff and possess the ability to handle a variety of administrative duties including preparing reports and importing/exporting student files. Demonstrating flexibility in managing their workload, they should have prior administrative experience and be proficient inMicrosoft Officepackages. Experience within an educational setting in an administrative capacity would be advantageous.

BCHS is located in the heart of Brentwood, near the town centre, a short distance from the train station, which is 25 minutes from Liverpool Street Station. The school, also includes a large sixth form campus and achievements at KS5 have been a key strength at BCHS. Parking is available on-site and there are good transport links by both rail and bus. BCHS is just over two miles from the M25.
