About the role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Teacher of PE to join our dynamic and forward-thinking department. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed practitioner who is passionate about girls' physical education and eager to contribute to a thriving extra-curricular programme. The ability or willingness to teach a second subject particularly Health and Social Care will be a strong advantage.
Our department benefits from outstanding facilities, including a modern fitness centre, gym, sports hall, netball courts and a £1 million state-of-the-art 4G pitch. We are proud of our extensive extra-curricular offer, with high levels of student engagement and competitive success.
You will be able to teach across all key stages, including contributing to our established Post-16 Football Programme. We are also looking to develop a Post-16 Netball Programme, so experience or interest in netball development will be particularly welcomed.
We are looking for someone who:
- Is an energetic and motivating practitioner with a passion for girls' PE
- Can teach PE across Key Stages 3-5
- Brings enthusiasm for extra-curricular sport and team development
- Is willing to contribute to Health & Social Care (advantageous but not essential)
- Works well as part of a collaborative, supportive team
- Is committed to high standards and student success
