Deputy Headteacher with responsibility for Raising standards and Sixth Form

Job Description

St Clere's School are seeking to appoint an experienced, dynamic and inspirational Deputy Headteacher with responsibility for Raising Standards & the success of the Sixth Form, who shares Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust's co-operative and inclusive ethos. The Deputy Headteacher will work with the senior leadership team andwill play a significant role to formulate the aims and objectives of the school, establishing the trust policies through which they shall be achieved. They will also support staff and manage resources to achieve the aims and objectives of the school and monitor progress towards their achievement.

St Clere's School is a high achieving, oversubscribed school. In addition, we have high specification classrooms with up-to-date ICT resources which enhance the teaching for all students and provide a comfortable environment in which to learn.

St Clere’s Secondary School is located on the edge of Stanford-le-hope, surrounded by a large expanse of fields needed for a vast array of sports activities. We have a stunning range of facilities including a drama studio, Apple-Mac suites, Science labs, a Sports Pavilion, well-stocked library with research and quiet study spaces.
