If so our Wraparound Settings Lead could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Essex Professional Coaching are seeking a dedicated and energetic individual to join our team as a Wraparound settings lead, who's superhero power will be to set up and manage a provision that is safe, fun and inclusive for children at our before and afterschool clubs.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic settings lead on a part time basis, working at a provision in the Tendring area CO16 0BP.

Reporting directly to the operations manager, the Wraparound manager/settings lead will be responsible for:

- Overseeing the planning, preparation and delivery aspects of the setting including serving breakfast and an afternoon snack

- Delivering inclusive, high-quality sessions and activities for the children

- Working within the framework of the club's policies and procedures to ensure the safeguarding and wellbeing of the children in your care at all times

- Facilitating effective communication with all members of the organisation, parents, schools, childcare and play related agencies and most importantly the children

- Managing the team's individual responsibilities to ensure the efficient day to day operation of the setting

- Auditing and ordering food and resources as appropriate

- Maintaining records, ensuring all children are signed in and out of sessions using our systems

- Being a brand ambassador, demonstrating our company values at all times

If you possess that possesses the following skills, we would love to hear from you about this role:

Essential

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Enthusiastic, passionate and caring personality
Ability to manage and support a group of people with varying needs and behaviours
Knowledge of Ofsted requirements principles and practices
Previous experience working in childcare, education or nursery setting
Desirable

Childcare or primary education qualification
Safeguarding certification
Level 2 food hygiene certification
Knowledge of FGM, prevent duty, county lines and child sexual exploitation
Paediatric first aid certification
Interview Stages

After shortlisting has taken place, we adopt a 3 stage interview process:

1. Telephone Interview - To go through the role and get to know you in more detail

2. Trial session - If successful in stage 1 you will then be invited to attend either a morning or afternoon slot at one of our current wraparound provisions to work alongside our team to support the days activities

3. Formal interview - If successful in stage 2 you will be invited to the business office for a formal interview

Successful applicants will then be provided with a job offer via telephone and this will be followed up with email confirmation and a full induction.

This is a term time only contract, with the option of additional work during school holidays.

Working hours and days are flexible and can be build around the needs of the individual with clubs taking place at the following times Monday to Friday.

Breakfast Club (7.30am - 9am)
Afterschool Club (3pm - 6pm)
