Permanent contract

37 hours per week (Monday to Friday) - Split Shift.

Salary - Band 5 (CCT Thurrock Academies Pay Scale)

Actual Working Salary £28,696 - £34,920 (which includes fringe allowance)

Salary dependent upon experience.

The Christus Catholic Trust and the Local Governing Committee of this vibrant and successful school, wish to appoint a Site Manager to join our friendly and dedicated staff team. We are a 3 form entry school, located on an attractive site, catering for around 630 pupils from a community which embraces diversity.

The suitable candidate will be:

• Enthusiastic, confident and able to show initiative and resilience

• Be an effective communicator with pupils and staff

• Be self-motivated with high expectations of self and others

• Hold at least an A - C pass in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)

• Have the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with staff and pupils

The successful applicant would be expected to:

• Have experience of caretaking/building maintanance and building security

• Contribute to creating a safe school environment.

• Have good organisational skills and ability to prioritise own workload

• Have good communication and writing skills and be flexible

• Attend INSET days and training as identified by the Head teacher

• Be fully supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school.
