Midday Assistant
Required ASAP
Working Pattern: Mondays, Tuesdays and Friday 11:55 AM - 1:10 PM (3 hours 15 minutes a week)
Working Weeks: 38 weeks (term time only
Salary:Scale 2 Points 3-4 (Actual Salary depending on experience: £2096.67- £2129.56 pa)
Key Responsibilities
During Lunch Service:
Set up and clear down tables and equipment in the dining hall before and after meals.
Supervise pupils in the dining hall, ensuring a calm, safe, and respectful environment.
Help younger children with tasks such as cutting up food and using cutlery.
Work closely with the midday team to support smooth movement between the hall and kitchen.
Promote good manners and encourage positive social interaction.
Outdoors and Play:
Engage with children during outdoor play, promoting inclusive and creative games.
Be proactive in encouraging kindness, cooperation, and active play.
Help to ensure that all children feel seen, safe, and included in activities.
