SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA) (HLTA qualified considered)
LSA - Point 4 - 32.5 hours per week (FIXED TERM) Start asap: initially until July 17th 2026
44 weeks per year (term time only does not include inset days) Actual salary £18,668.32
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team, initially until the end of the school year. A strong, existing HLTA would be considered.
With an increasing number of pupils exhibiting additional needs in EYFS and Key Stage 1, we are currently looking for people with the interests and skills required to support children such as these.
We are a caring and supportive, two-form entry Catholic school in Southchurch. We are looking for:
● an enthusiastic and motivated person who has experience of working in a school
● an excellent team worker who can be flexible when needed
● proactive, skilled adults who can interact with pupils and support their development with love and care
● ideally, someone with the knowledge, skills and experience to support pupils with additional needs
● for existing HLTAs, someone who is confident teaching a whole class of children and is able to be flexible and adaptable
● a person who reflects on their practice and aims to explore ways of improving
● someone to support the teaching of a broad and balanced curriculum aimed at helping pupils achieve their full potential in all areas of learning
● contribution to the planning of differentiated learning activities for individuals, delivering activities inside or outside the classroom
● somebody who is happy to support the loving, Christian ethos of the school
