As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, working with class teachers, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
· supporting teaching and learning across a range of subjects and year groups.
· Assisting with the planning and preparation of lessons and resources.
· Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
· Providing support for pupils' emotional well-being and personal development.
Essential Criteria:
· HLTA qualification/experience or equivalent
· Experience of working as a Learning Support Assistant in a primary school setting.
· Strong knowledge of primary school curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
· Ability to support children with diverse learning needs, including SEND.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Good understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Understanding of safeguarding practices in schools.
· A positive, professional, and proactive attitude towards supporting children's learning.
Permanent contract
Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.15pm
