We are now seeking a Room Coordinator / Senior Early Years Practitioner to join our dedicated team.

As the Room coordinator you will:
Lead by example in your designated room, ensuring a safe, fun, and enriching environment for the children. You will guide and support a small team of practitioners, oversee planning and assessments, and work closely with parents and management to deliver outstanding early years education.
- Lead the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring high standards of care and learning.
- Support, mentor, and motivate your team of practitioners.
- Plan, implement and review age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and learning journeys.
- Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children.
- Build strong, trusting partnerships with parents and carers.
- Uphold nursery policies and contribute to continuous improvement
What We're Looking For:
- A Level 3 qualification(or above) in Early Years Education and Childcare
- A Level 3 SENCO qualification(or willingness to complete one)
- At least 2 years' experience in an early years setting
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS and SEND Code of Practice
- Excellent communication, organisational, and record-keeping skills
- A warm, compassionate approach and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND

Further Details
Level 6 Scale points 13-20£28,163-£31,586 FTE
37 hours across 5 x days Monday - Friday
Shifts will be between 7am and 6 pm our operating hours each day
Permanent contract
This role is for 48 weeks per year paid 52 weeks
