St Michael's is a single form entry school with a Nursery and ARP (Additional Resourced Provision) for 15 children with SLD (Severe Learning difficulty).
Whilst this role is not predominantly working with the children that access our provision, you may be required to support these children aswell.
St Michael's have an expectation that all staff will work with all children as directed, and this may include children who have special educational needs.
We are looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join our dedicated team at St Michael's Primary School & Nursery.
Hours of work11:40am - 1:20pm
Monday to Friday (Term time only)
About the Role:
As a Midday Assistant, you will support pupils during the lunchtime period - helping them with eating, socialising, and ensuring they are safe and engaged during play.
You will work across the school, including supporting children within the ARP, so experience or understanding of working with children with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
