We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Sitemanager to join our school team. The successful post holder will be flexible in their work, with good general maintenance and DIY skills, for example, decorating, carpentry, plumbing. Good communication skills as you will be liaising with contractors, tradesman, as well as students and staff. Take pride in your work and be able to use your initiative.

Ideally you should have an awareness of COSHH, safe manual handling practices and Health and Safety. Prior experience within a similar setting is desirable. Full driving licence and use of own car is essential as you may be required to attend site outside of normal working hours.

Duties will include locking and unlocking the premises, be a primary key holder, attending alarm call outs, maintenance duties, maintain stocks of materials, porterage, operating systems, record keeping, legionella testing (training will be given), asbestos register management, managing day to day Health and Saftey compliance, site security and tidyness.

Start date as soon as possible (happy to wait for the right candidate).

The hours of work will be 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7.30am - 11am, 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm (Friday 2:30pm - 6:00pm) and this will be required 52 weeks of the year (25 days holidays to be taken in school closure periods). Actual salary £27,254.
