PRIMARY LIAISON COORDINATOR / PASTORAL ASSISTANT
37 HOURS PER WEEK / 40 WEEKS PER YEAR
(term time including inset days + 1 week holiday working)
SCALE 5 POINTS 9-12
FTE SALARY £27,254 - £28,598 (ACTUAL SALARY £23,939 - £25,120 PA)
We are seeking to appoint an individual with a positive, professional and enthusiastic approach to work closely with the Assistant Headteacher (responsible for Primary Liaison) in promoting effective communication with all our partner primary schools, ensuring a smooth transition from Year 6 to Year 7 to enable sustained student progress.
Previous experience of working with children (11-16) preferably in a busy educational setting is required and experience of dealing with external agencies would be an advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent and efficient organisational skills, strong interpersonal skills combined with strong literacy, numeracy and ICT skills (Microsoft Office & SIMS). They will also have a calm and tactful approach, the ability to work to tight deadlines and be emotionally resilient. A clean driving licence is required as visiting feeder schools and home visits is a feature of the role.
