We are seeking a nurturing, adaptable, and motivated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to work with pupils who are currently attending school on a reduced timetable. This role is crucial in supporting these children to re-engage with learning, rebuild confidence, and have positive, meaningful experiences within the school environment.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working under the direction of the SENDCo providing 1:1 and small group support. You will work as part of our experienced SEND and pastoral team, providing targeted, flexible support to help pupils feel safe, valued, and ready to return to full time school participation.

Your role will involve working alongside our wider teaching team to create a nurturing and structured environment.

We are looking for an individual who is eager to learn, implement innovative strategies and demonstrate patience and empathy in their practice. A proven record building trusting relationships with students and an understanding of how to promote readiness to learn would also be desirable.

An understanding of and previous experience of supporting pupils with social, emotional or mental health needs would also be highly desirable. Whilt an understanding of inclusion and trauma-informed practice would also be beneficial.

Working hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 9am - 1pm.

Actual salary starts at £12,235 per annum

This role is initially offered on a fixed-term contract on a part-time basis however there is scope that working hours could increase in the future.
