About the role:
Chipping Ongar Primary Schoolis a member of Bridge Academy Trust which educates children aged4-11years.We are opening a new enhanced provision for children with severe learning difficulties in our Maple Classroom.Wewould like to recruit aLearning Support Assistantto be part of this new and vital team.You will need to be committed to making a difference and have the enthusiasm toimprove pupil engagement and communication for children who may find this challenging.
We are looking for a candidate who has:
· The experience and enthusiasm to work as part of a team in a supportive environmentas aLearning Support Assistantfor SLD pupils.
· Experience working across the primary rangeand experience of working with children withadditionalneeds.
· Have an interest in working with childrenand making a difference.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and we expect all staff and volunteers to share in the commitment.Appointments will be subject to DBS clearance and satisfactory references.If successful, an enhanced DBS check would besought.
