What skills and wxperience we are looking for:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who understands the importance of creating a safe and nurturing environment for our youngest learners. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, enabling all children to achieve their potential whilst fostering a love for learning.
We are particularly interested in applicants who:
Have a good level of English and Maths, both written and spoken
Are passionate about early years education
Possess a good sense of humour
Are committed to supporting children's learning and development
Are willing to undertake relevant training
Are excellent team players
Are great communicators with both children and adults
Have good organisational skills
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential

Information about the School
Baynards is a smaller than average sized primary school with a big heart! It is located on the edge of Tiptree village within easy reach of Colchester. We currently have a roll of just over 100 pupils who learn in 4 spacious, bright and well-resourced classrooms. The children are delightful and are very enthusiastic about their learning. Baynards Primary School is an active member of a consortium of 15 primary schools in the local area and has regular contact with peers and colleagues in the group. We have a recently expanded Governing Body who are dedicated and strive for excellence for all pupils.
Teachers set high expectations for all pupils and those with special educational needs are supported at all times, both academically and socially. The Teachers are supported by the pupils who are proud of who they are and are keen to progress.
Baynards Primary School is dedicated to ensuring that all pupils develop a love of learning and also respect and care for one another.
