Catering Manager
Start Date: 3rd November 2025
24 hours per week; Monday - Thursday; Working pattern to be agreed
Salary: Scale 5/ 6: Point 9 - 17 (£27,254 to £31,022 pro rata)
Kingston Primary School is part of the Robus Multi Academy Trust, and we are seeking to appoint a dedicated Catering Manager.

· Have a passion for producing good food
· Enjoy working as part of a team
· Have a "can do" attitude
· Have good literacy and numeracy skills
· Are educated to Level 3 in Food Safety or equivalent qualification or experience
· Can ensure the operational efficiency, planning, preparation and presentation of food and beverages to the required standard within the budget limitations as agreed with the school management
· Have knowledge of personnel management, hygiene and health and safety.
· Have good organisational and interpersonal skills
· Have the ability to work on your own initiative and to remain calm under pressure

Kingston Primary School is located in Thundersley, Essex and together with the other local schools of Montgomerie Primary, Thundersley Primary and Woodham Ley Primary form the Robus Multi Academy Trust. These schools are committed to sharing ideas, expertise and their unique experiences so that our children and staff are able to learn, develop and grow together. Leaders from each School meet regularly for the purpose of driving school improvement and sharing best practice.
