SEN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Hours of work: 8:30-3:00, 30 hours per week, term-time only, 43.5wks paid per year
Starting Salary: Scale 3 Point 5 £26,312 FTE / £17,798 Actual
Closing: midnight 12th October 2025
Selection: 13th October 2025
Interview: w/c 13th October 2025
Start: 3rd November 2025
Greensted is a vibrant and inclusive educational environment dedicated to fostering the potential of all our students. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support our students with Special Educational Needs.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN, helping them to engage in classroom activities.
· Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored educational programs.
· Adapt learning materials to meet individual student needs.
· Monitor and report on student progress and behaviour.
· Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
· Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external specialists to promote student development.
Qualifications:
· Experience working with children, particularly those with SEN.
· A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or special needs support is preferred.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
